Agricultural Fencing
At Bartlett Fence, we offer a full range of agricultural fencing to keep your property safe and working the way you need it. From simple barbed wire to heavy-duty game fences, we handle it all with care and skill. We take time to understand your land, your animals, and your goals so we can build the right fence for you — strong, safe, and built to last.
Commercial Fence
Every farm and piece of land is different – and so are your needs. That’s why we take the time to look at the full picture before we build. From your animals and crops to the way your land is shaped, we make sure the fence we install works exactly how it should, safely and for the long haul.
We look at what kind of animals or crops you have and what needs to be kept in or out. That helps us choose the right type of fence and gate for your farm
We make sure the fence is safe for you, your animals, and your land. A poorly built fence can cause problems so we make sure that doesn’t happen.
We don’t just build what we think works, we listen to what you want. If you prefer posts set in concrete or have other needs, we’ll make it happen
Farm fences aren’t like regular fences. They need to work hard and stand up to weather and wear. We use designs and materials that hold up over time.
Some posts need to be driven; others need to be set in concrete. We decide what’s best based on your land and what the fence is for and we always set gate posts in concrete for strength.
We always pull the right permits, follow local codes, and call before we dig. That’s how we make sure the fence is legal, safe, and done right from day one.

benefits
The right agricultural fence does more than just mark your property line. It keeps your animals safe, protects your crops, and helps your land work better. At Bartlett Fence, we take time to understand your land and your goals so we can build a fence that works hard for you every day.
Keeps Animals In and Predators Out
Your livestock and animals need to stay safe and secure. Our fences are built with strength and structure in mind, giving you peace of mind that your animals are protected.
Designed for Your Land and Needs
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Whether you have open pasture, uneven land, or special livestock needs, we design your fence around your exact layout and use
Safer for You and Your Animals
We look at your fence as if it were protecting our own family and animals. That means safe gates, proper hardware, and smart design choices that reduce risks and injuries.
Saves Time and Worry
With proper fencing, your animals stay where they belong and your gates work how they should. That saves you time, cuts down on stress, and helps your land run smoother every day.
Backed by Local Experience and Care
We’ve been building fences in the Bartlett and Memphis area for years. We understand local codes, soil, and weather, and we’re always here to help before, during, and after your project.
Built to Last with the Right Materials
We use strong materials like barbed wire, electric tape, and metal panels. Our posts are set in concrete when needed, and every corner gets cross-braced for long-term support.
Agricultural Fence
Building a strong farm fence takes more than just materials. It takes planning, care, and experience. At Bartlett Fence, we follow a clear process to make sure your agricultural fencing is installed the right way from start to finish. Whether you’re fencing livestock or protecting farmland, here’s what you can expect.
We take time to go over your project details, answer all your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable before we move forward. Once everything is clear, we’ll finalize the agreement together so you know exactly what to expect.
We call in a utility locate to mark underground lines and pull any permits needed for your fence project.
Your project is added to our active schedule. We monitor it daily and adjust as needed for weather or unexpected delays, always keeping you updated.
The day before we start, we’ll confirm with you. When our crew arrives, the Crew Foreman will go over the work order to make sure everyone understands the plan.
Our skilled crew gets to work. Your estimator also stops by each day to check in, answer questions and handle anything that comes up.
When your fence is finished, the Crew Foreman and/or your Estimator will walk through the completed project with you to make sure you’re fully satisfied.
Agricultural Fence
Choosing the right company for your agricultural fence project makes all the difference. We’ve seen how cutting corners or not understanding farm needs can lead to weak fences, unsafe conditions, or costly do-overs. At Bartlett Fence, we do things right the first time and take every detail seriously.
Some companies have little to show when it comes to real farm fence work. We recommend checking social media, photos, and customer reviews. At Bartlett Fence, we are proud of our history and reputation. We believe if a company is rated below 4 stars, that’s a red flag.
Not all posts should be treated the same. Some companies drive all posts, even gate posts, which leads to early failure. We always set gate posts in concrete for strength and discuss post installation methods with each landowner based on the fence type and soil.
Using the wrong fence for your animals or land can cause harm or leave areas unprotected. We take time to understand what you’re fencing in or out so we can match the right material and layout to your needs.
Hiring a contractor who isn’t licensed or insured puts your property at risk. Bartlett Fence is fully licensed and insured, and we take liability seriously to protect both you and our crew.
Not pulling the right permits or ignoring local codes can result in fines or having to remove the fence. We always pull permits and follow all local agricultural and safety codes so your project stays compliant.
Failing to call for utility locates before digging can lead to dangerous and costly problems. We always call ahead to mark lines and avoid underground hazards.
A good fence job is also a clean and safe one. Some crews leave behind trash or tools, or don’t follow safety practices. We train our team to work clean, stay safe, and treat your land with care.
Anyone can say they install fences, but not everyone follows best practices. We hold certifications, belong to national associations, and follow proven installation standards so you get a fence that lasts.
